Zoom H6:
Equipped with four XLR-1/4" combo inputs and a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack input (on the XYH-6 capsule), the H6 can accommodate condenser microphones, +4 dB balanced line-level sources, or signals from unbalanced instruments with active electronics. Turn on 12, 24, or 48 VDC phantom power to the XLR jacks, or 2.5V plug-in power to the mini jack. Whether you plan on recording studio condenser mics, feeds from wireless receivers, or a lavalier and shotgun mic combo for an interview, the H6's preamps are ready to deliver low-noise (-120 dB EIN) performance.
The H6 boasts 6-channel recording at up to 24-bit / 96 kHz resolution. Record all channels simultaneously or utilize the overdubbing function to add layers of instruments after an initial recording. Adjust levels and pans for your tracks, then use the H6's internal mixdown function to blend six tracks down to a stereo file.
RØDE NTG2:
The combination of the NTG2's 11" long body and supercardioid polar pattern yields focused front-facing directionality and enhanced attenuation of sound entering from the sides. Its low self-noise of 18 dBA and sensitive condenser element communicate detailed audio unburdened by the hiss that plagues many low-cost microphones. Plus, its balanced output allows longer cable runs than most camera-mount shotgun microphones.
RØDE PG2 Pistol Grip Shock Mount:
The Grip Shock Mount is designed to reduce handling noise when recording with shotgun microphones.
It supports microphones with a diameter of 19-20mm or 21-22.5mm using the supplied interchangeable mounts, and a handy release lever on the mount allows for quick and easy adjustment of the microphone angle.
Cable management is an integral design feature of the PG2 pistol grip, with the cable running through the handle assembly to minimise any handling noise or clutter. Additional cable security is provided on either side of the rubber shock mount.
The PG2 can be operated by hand or attached to a boompole via the 3/8' thread attachment at the base.
